Ross Year of Celebration
Posted February 2018 in Tain Through Time
2018 is a very special year for Clan Ross Chief David Ross of Ross and Balnagowan. First of all we would like to say congratulations to David and his wife Eileen who will celebrate their Diamond Wedding Anniversary on Wednesday 7th February. We think you will all agree that this is a magnificent achievement and we hope that they have many more happy years together.
This is followed closely by David’s 84th birthday on February 11th. David and Eileen are having a joint celebration with their family at Gleneagles. The Trustees, staff and volunteers send their warmest wishes to David and Eileen on these occasions.
2018 is also David’s 50th anniversary as Chief of the Clan Ross. During the last 50 years David has traveled the globe attending Clan Gatherings meeting Rosses whose ancestors left Scotland but have never lost their feeling of kinship. We will celebrate David’s 50 years as Chief over the coming months.
